Manisha Patel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and graduate degree from Wayne State University. Over the years she worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, hospice and nursing home care, juvenile detention centers. This has afforded her the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical and administrative roles, working with diverse clientele and concerns.
Manisha has extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, mood disorders and loss and grief among others. Her approach to therapy is empowerment centered, strength and solution focused. She incorporates CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and 3rd wave CBT skills including DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), balancing physical and emotional health, highlighting whole body approach.
